József Pólik, born in Debrecen, is a Hungarian philosopher, film director, screenwriter, university professor, director of two feature films (The Worst Day of My Life, 2017; Balcsillag, 2023) and several short films (Razum, 1996; Inferno, 1997; Lamm, 1998).
