Is an Egyptian actor who started her career in the ‘Aakef Circus, her family where all circus numbers and acrobatic games were performed by family members. Although she quickly became the cleverest circus girl, yet she dreamt of becoming a film star. Hence actor Sou’aad Mekkaawy encouraged her and introduced her to “Nahhaas Films” where she worked with Youssef Wahby in his film “Shaadeyat al-waady i.e. Singer of the valley”. Her talent was discovered by director Hussein Fawzy who gave her a number of lead roles and later married her. She became one of the most famous musical film stars and became its symbol. Two years before her death of cancer, she retired and spent her time taking care of her only son from Accountant Salaah Abdul Aleem, her second husband.
