Zafer Davutoğlu , (1934, Istanbul - 1996, Istanbul), Turkish director, screenwriter and producer . During his career from the 1960s to the 1990s, he directed 36 movies, and also directed, produced, edited and wrote the screenplays of many more movies. He first started working as an assistant decorator at İpek Film Studio in 1950, when he was only 15 years old. In 1953, he worked as a camera assistant at Acar Film Studio. In the 1960s, he worked with director Osman Seden and made many films together. The first film he directed was " Adanalı Tayfur " in 1963, the script of which was written by Osman Seden and starring Ajda Pekkan , Öztürk Serengil , and Efkan Efekan . After 1973, Zafer Davutoğlu preferred to direct productions aimed at TV. He is the producer, director and screenwriter of the 1970 film The Last Angry Man , starring Yılmaz Güney , Fecri Ebcioğlu , Münir Özkul and Nubar Terziyan . His brother Kenan Davutoğlu is the cinematographer of the film.
